According to The Source, Adam “COST” Cole was in court this past week facing charges from an October bust in the Meatpacking District. Reportedly caught red-handed by police with paint brushes and stickers of his signature logo, COST is currently facing charges of vandalism, criminal mischief & destruction of property.
After first becoming popular in the NYC graffiti-art scene in the 1980-1990s, COST took a hiatus of sorts until last year when his artwork reemerged in the Lower East Side, Bushwick, and the rest of our metropolis. When COST was arrested and he reportedly admitted to the crime in the most bad ass of ways by saying “You know my graffiti”.
We’ll keep you posted as this story develops, but with an alibi like that…it doesn’t look so good. #FREECOST
