Hollis Famous Burgers and Hip-Hop Museum has finally opened to the public in the same Queens neighborhood that birthed the legendary Run DMC.
The establishment boasts over 100 hip-hop artifacts and cherished pieces of hip-hop history. The collection is one-of-a-kind, and definitely brings out the fact that Queens has held onto a big piece of responsibility for bringing hip-hop to the forefront of music for the past 25 years.
Orville Hall, owner of the eatery tells the AP that the neighborhood of Hollis is “our Motown, our Nashville, our Beale Street.”
