Sunday night dinner was out of the ordinary this week as the 212 team checked out Lil’ Frankies in the East Village. One of four restaurants that Italian mastermind Frank Prisinzano owns in the city, each resto has its own take on Italian favorites. Lil’ Frankies feels like you’re eating in your grandma’s kitchen with the floral tablecloths and cozy vibe. It’s also well-known for delicious homemade pizzas.
Some highlights included the double kale caesar – so simple, yet so well done. The pizza bianca – white pizza topped with rosemary, olive oil, sea salt & truffle oil and just about the best garlic bread on earth! Hopefully you’re salivating by now so go check it out for yourself!
