We love us some Shake Shack. Like seriously, its an addiction. Well, looks like our favorite burger franchise will add another Brooklyn location to its arsenal and this one, right in front of the Barclays Center. Slated to open this fall.
Reps from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group sent word that the mega-restaurateur is opening a new location of his beloved Shake Shack chain at 170 Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn. Shake Shack CEO Randy Garutti explains: “Our second Brooklyn location will be directly across from the Barclays Center and plant us firmly within walking distance of several neighborhoods from Park Slope to Fort Greene.” Rumors about a possible Shack in this area started circulating last fall.
Like every other Shack, this one will be built with “a variety of recycled and sustainable materials,” and the menu will feature all the Shack favorites, plus a few site-specific concretes. It’s slated to open this fall.
