Our good friends at Line Rocket are no strangers to producing these wild events, the entertainment company has thrown countless shows around the states. Last year in Atlantic City, Sebastian Ingrosso & Krewella helped transform a frigid December night at an airport runway into an unforgettable evening with blazing beats and thousands of paint-kissed ravers dancing for hours. Now back again at a larger venue, the Life in Color UNLEASH tour will not disappoint – check out the official trailer below:
As if tearing the roof off the convention center won’t be enough, Line Rocket is hosting an after party with remix duo Caked Up and friends at the Harrah’s Pool after the show on the late night – grab your tickets here:
Most widely known for the viral and now grammy-nominated track ‘Turn Down For What’, headliner DJ Snake will close the night after a collection of trap and progressive electronic artists take the decks. Although that single has been associated with the rise and demise of ‘EDM’ after being spoofed by SNL, the French producer has found a way to silence the haters with quality collaborations such as ‘You Know You Like It’ featuring duo AlunaGeorge.
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past year, here’s the insane grammy-nominated video for ‘Turn Down For What’. It’s worth your four Monday minutes, I promise.
DVBBS, pronounced “dubs”, is comprised of the van den Hoef brothers Chris and Alex. Famous for their international hit and Beatport #1 ‘Tsunami’ with Borgeous, DVBBS built upon their success by crushing festival sets all across the world. Among several other locations, they threw down at a Line Rocket LIC event this Summer at Metlife Stadium. The ‘Woozy Gang’ Canadians will be joining the212 team at DJ Carnage’s ASOC Reunion Massive at Pier 94 in two weeks, but only if they can stay out of trouble after Chris got arrested for marijuana possession about a week ago.
The Caked Up boys Oscar Wylde and Vegas Banger have recently been at the center of several claims in which artists LOUDPVCK, Gladiator and Jackal accused the duo of stealing songs and claiming them as their own. While the lack of originality is pretty weak, there’s a reason why they are in the middle of the bill on this event. Nevertheless, expect a slew of Top 40 songs remixed with filthy drops and mean synths – they certainly know how to party. Here’s their take on Bobby Shmurda’s ‘Hot N****’.
Fellow Parisian Mercer joins DJ Snake as the second French artist to spin at the Life in Color massive this Saturday. Mercer has been a consistent act all over the world this Summer and spun at HQ in August. Fresh off an appearance at the Mad Decent Boat Party, Mercer specializes in big room sound and will definitely let loose his new single with Quintino:
Openers Kennedy Jones, Heff and Bravo Bravo will set the mood for what will be a crazy night at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Get ready to go hard in the paint! Limited tickets are still available, grab them while you can.
