Graced by the beautiful vocals of miss Angelika Vee, 24-year-old Lehigh grad Jared Lucas has officially made the transition from college phenom to dropping a major label (Ultra) track and headlining a 20-date U.S. tour. ‘Let It All Out’ features an uplifting, layered melody that is sure to find its’ way on the festival circuit as soon as the snow starts to melt. This is a huge release, one that his whole team should be proud of as a debut single.
The road wasn’t easy but Kap Slap found inspiration through the adversity he faced at a young age, Jared’s sister has cerebral palsy and mother has breast cancer. After learning the guitar, bass and drums during high school, he took his musical ear to mastering in Ableton and pumping out a huge collection of mashups and mixtapes. Now dedicating the necessary time to focus solely on his productions for the mainstage, Kap Slap is primed for a huge 2015. Although he already played Webster Hall two weeks ago, the appropriately named ‘Breakout Tour’ still has a few shows left with supporting acts Jai Wolf and Gazzo.
