Brooklyn Bridge Park is going to get better by any means necessary. Their hopes for a velodrome were shot down last week, but they’re on to the next plan…and this time it’s a free bouldering wall to be built under the Manhattan Bridge as part of their expansion on Main Street. They’re also attempting a dog run, expansion of the lawn space and an entry plaza. For now, the space is occupied by a DOT paint shed (that would be torn down) and a DEP building that would be converted into a building with public restrooms, classrooms and a maintenance area.
