And unfortunately for a 30 year-old Broadway actress, she found out the hard way, as she was fondled and robbed while strolling in Central Park yesterday morning. According to sources who confirmed to DNA Info, the assault reportedly took place after the woman wrapped up a Monday evening Broadway play production, in which afterwards, she had a drink at a nearby bar, where she met the assailant on a walk up to the park. Authorities have provided details as to what transpired, along with this grainy photo of the man who’s responsible for the heinous attack:
The man, described as 5-foot 8-inches with black hair and black eyes, attacked her inside the park about 2:30 a.m. near 64th Street and West Drive, grabbing her suddenly and throwing her down, cops said.As he climbed on top of her, the actress beat him with her handbag until the suspect grabbed the purse and fled into the night, sources said.
