In efforts to trademark their baby’s name, Blue Ivy, power-couple Jay-Z and Beyonce, have lost a battle in court to a Boston based company named Blue Ivy Events last Tuesday, October 16th. Upon their child’s arrival, the couple had made countless of efforts to trademark her name, and also start a clothing line in her name, but a judge further ruled and sided with Blue Ivy Events owner Veronica Alexander in defending her long-lasting trademark, and in the process of losing this ruling, the former, Alexander, can go about her business without Hov and Bee interfering with her biz. Gee-wiz, I don’t blame her. Well, if they’d offer her some of that lengthy mulah of theirs all of this will be handled, right? Kanye Shrug.
