Drake was sued by a company that owns a portion of Greenhouse, a hotspot in NYC that’s directly attached to the club where he had the infamous brawl with Chris Brown over the summer, W.i.P. The company, Entertainment Enterprises, is seeking $16 million in damages because they feel that the reputations of Greenhouse and W.i.P. both took a hit after the fight, and he wants Drizzy to pay!
Drake has now responded to the suit, and in a nutshell, says that Greenhouse wasn’t doing well even before the fight, so it’s not his problem. He specifically states that the NY Times has described the club as having “a history of violence and other problems,” and name-checks an incident in 2011 when they almost got their liquor license suspended due to “a string of violent incidents.” He’s looking to get the case dropped.
