Last month fellow New Yorkers could not bear the rain, as showers hit us just about every other day in June. Now, with July showing it’s true scorching colors, the heat has not only turn up temperature wise, but local residents are also steaming from the blazing conditions—hitting a high of 94 degrees today. It makes it the third day straight that temperatures have hit the 90’s, which along with the humid weather makes many locations in the five boroughs feel like 100. For the elderly, feel free to stay indoors under your AC’s or drink lots of fluids if stepping out, and as for the kids to young adults, please refrain from doing strenuous work in the heat, drink water as well and hit the pools and beaches.
