Any hope the NY Jets had for a chance in the playoffs was demolished during last nights game against the Titans, where they suffered a 14-10 loss. Mark Sanchez was a major factor, turning the ball over 5 times (threw 4 interceptions). Naturally, coach Rex Ryan is not happy.
“Obviously, it’s a devastating loss, out of the playoffs, and it hurts beyond belief,” he said after the game. “I think the thing that really hurts the most is we’ve got no one to blame but ourselves.”
“I just regret not winning this game,” Ryan said. “I think that’s the big thing.”
“As big as this game is, I mean it was a huge game for us,” he added, “and to turn it over five times, to get the ball on the 25-yard line with a chance to win it at the end and then turn it over again, obviously, it was extremely disappointing, to say the least.”
Better luck next year!
