Kenyon Martin signed a 10-day contract with the Knicks on Saturday, though he didn’t get a chance to play the first game on Sunday (against the Sixers.) However, he’s undeterred and hopes to play in the game this Wednesday against the Warriors.
“It feels great just to throw a uniform on again,” he said when asked how it feels to be back on the court. He also added that the idea that he’s a divisive force is a “misconception.”
“I’m here to change all that,” Martin said. “I’m here to change people’s perception about me and if it’s a 10-day (contract) or if it’s for the rest of the season, whatever it is, I’m here to do that.”
