With a recent loss to the guard position, as marked with Jason Kidd’s departure, Knick fans have been awfully ecstatic with the draft pick of Michigan guard Tim Hardaway Jr. But the question that remains here, does he possess the cross-over abilities or wicked jump-shot like his daddy? Only time will tell, and with a New York squad surely open to give a youngster or two a shot at some playing time, Hardaway Jr. can be that surprise rookie taken from this year’s draft. The 6’6″ guard, who averaged 14.5 points and 4.7 rebounds in his junior season at Michigan, inked a four year deal with the Knicks, as reported by the Knicks on Monday. He’ll have a lot to prove as he follows his father’s footsteps, so let’s hope this isn’t a bust for the organization.
