The New York Knicks are currently 3-1 in the Playoffs against the Indiana Pacers, and J.R. Smith is the reason…according to him.

“I take the blame for this whole series,” Smith said after their Game 4 loss. “It started off with Game 4 in Boston or Game 5. I haven’t been playing myself. I haven’t been playing my part. I’ve been letting my teammates down. I’ve been letting my coaches down.”

“I have to play more efficient,” he added.. “I don’t make excuses. I got to be able to step up and do what I do.”

In nine games, J.R. is averaging 14.3 points per game on 33.6 percent shooting. He has made just 15 of his 53 3-point attempts (28 percent).

This four-night event combines a club with an all-star lineup of DJs mixing original and remix sounds of Latin Soul, Funk, Boogaloo, Salsa and more with an intimate and beautiful pop-up store experience filled with Fania’s famed catalog and merchandise (from vinyl and CDs to tees, DVDs, apparel and more).

The headlining DJs for each night range from the legendary Louie Vega, whose new album as his live project Elements of Life – Eclipse is out now on Fania and is the label’s first new artist album in years, to famed mixtape maestro Tony Touch to global bass pioneers Que Bajo (aka Gecko Jones and Uproot Andy) to Puerto Rican Super DJ Duo D’Marquesina. The Taxi and Limousine Commission will be appearing before their board on Thursday, looking to approve a series of major changes. This includes enabling owners to charge drivers more to lease cabs on a weekly basis, as well as forcing drivers to pay for some car repairs.

This will greatly effect drivers’ pockets, however. “These rules are absolutely horrendous and if they are passed will be disastrous for thousands upon thousands of drivers,” Bhairavi Desi, executive director of the New York Taxi Workers Alliance.

The TLC issued a statement in response: “We respect NYTWA’s right to speak out and be heard. “These proposed rules seek to create a balance between the legitimate financial concerns of fleet operators and the needs and concerns of drivers.”
